BARK IF YOU LOVE ART! Tails by the Lake is hosting the 5th annual Art Bark Fest- Animal Art & Wine Festival at the Village at Squaw Valley, USA. Visit gorgeous Lake Tahoe and enjoy sipping fine wines and browsing fine art underneath the peaks of Squaw Valley. The Art Bark Fest was created to combine the love of art & wine with the love of animals and is one of the only animal themed fine arts and wine festival in the country. The artwork varies from the work of Cholla the horse that paints abstract watercolors to a jeweler who creates a 14K gold necklace from your own dog's nose imprint. The unique artists attending the event vary from fine jewelry to crystal sculptures to oils and watercolors. The fine wines will also be animal themed - Graeser Winery’s 2002 Two Dog Vineyard Merlot to Mutt Lynch Winery's Unleashed Chardonnay. Purchase wine tasting tickets now or at the event - just click on Purchase Wine Tasting below if you'd like to pre-purchase - proceeds benefit Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe & Squaw Rescue Dogs. Up and coming Band, Kelly's Lot, will round out the festival will their eclectic mix of styles built on a Blues/Rock foundation. Throughout the day enjoy live music, dine, shop for art, or just relax and enjoy the fine wines from several renowned vineyards (see participating wineries below).
