Pet (Dog &/or Cat) Door Electronic Panel with Collar Key
Does your pup or kitty want to go out but you don't want the critters to get in? Then the electronic panel/collar door is the perfect solution!
All electronic panels are designed to keep intruders out! The large size also can be used to keep selected pets in. This is the best choice, we think, for the common situation where it is desired to allow the dog access but not the cat. While it cannot be guaranteed of course, we think that the combination of a heavy, noisy flap together with the fact that it immediately closes as the dog clears it, would dissuade any cat from following a dog outside.
Small and small/medium electronic doors come with two collar keys. Spare keys are available (see below). Note that the small/med size comes with 'large cat' collar keys. Larger keys more suitable for small dogs are available at extra cost (see below).
The large size comes with one collar key. Spares are available (see below). Additionally, a transformer may be ordered for the large to convert it from regular battery operation to wall power with battery backup (see below).
The new 'large' size is quite wide. You will lose about 21" out of your sliding glass door opening. Be sure you'll still have enough room to get out yourself! (Remember that these are 'spring-load' doors so they can be easily taken out and replaced occasionally). Secondly, shipping size limitations dictate that the framing protrudes to the side only about 3/4". with the weather strip attached, the side framing will extend into your jam about 1 1/8". Check to be sure that will be enough.

The height adjustment is accomplished with a 'spring load' assembly which allows for continuous, 'tool free' adjustment within the specified adjustment range. Once inserted, the panel is locked in place using the two thumb screws near the top of the panel.
