The climate control unit utilizes the same technology that controls your home environment, and is built to exacting standards to last while operating with amazing efficiency. The unit changes the temperature of the dog house approximately 20 degrees - for example if the outdoor temperature is 30 degrees, it will keep the house at about 50 degrees when using the heating element (air blown is approximately 93 degrees). For the air, if the outdoor temperature is about 90 degrees, it will lower it to about 70 degrees (air blown is approximately 63 degrees). However, keep in mind the houses have not been tested in extreme temperatures (20 below, etc). Also, keep in mind, the heated air will not be super hot to the touch but will feel lukewarm.
